Education

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education.  This is my 9th year in Carroll County school systems and my 2nd year at Sand Hill.  I have worked as a paraprofessional in Kindergarten and SPED.  Since completing my degree I have taught Pre-K and 3rd grade.

Experience

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome your child to my classroom. I would like for this year to be a joint effort between you and me to give your child the very best third grade year possible. Please feel free to contact me anytime you have a concern or if you just want to check your child’s progress. My planning time is 10:30-11:20. Otherwise, I am available for phone calls after 3:00 p.m. If you wish to schedule a conference, please make an appointment by sending a note, by calling the school at

770-832-8541, or by e-mailing me alyssa.cook@carrollcountyschools.com.    You can also visit my website for any additional information.  You will find this by going to the Sand Hill school website, clicking on School Staff in the left hand column, and then clicking on my name.
