I am a product of Carroll County Schools.  I obtained my bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from West Georgia College.  I completed my Masters degree in Reading Education at the State University of West Georgia.  My Specialist degree is in Education and Curriculum from University of West Georgia.  I have also started my Doctorate Degree.

I started my teaching career in Fulton County, where I taught for two years.  I then returned home to Carroll County starting at Whitesburg Elementary, where I received Teacher of the Year presented by in 2003.   I then had the honor of helping to open Ithica Elementary where I was named their first teacher of the year in 2005.  I moved to Sand Hill in 2009 where I taught Kindergarten for one year and have taught second grade ever since.  I LOVE second grade!

I am a proud Law Enforcement wife of a Sheriff Deputy.  We have two adult sons.  I am also very blessed with extended family and friends.  Our life is full and we love it all!
