I am a native of Melbourne, Florida, but I moved to Georgia in 1989 and graduated with my bachelor's degree from the University of West Georgia (previously known as West Georgia College) in 1992.  I graduated with my Master's in Special Education from the University of West Georgia in 2010. I have been a special education teacher at Sand Hill since 2007. I live on 5 acres in Heard County and have lots of animals including dogs, cats, and horses. I enjoy gardening, camping, and pretty much anything outdoors. I am also a HUGE Gators fan!
